Biography Sue Rule lives with her husband alongside an old Roman road in the Eden Valley in Kent. She is Marketing Director for SMS Exemplar Ltd., a consultancy specialising in effective business systems, and the mother of two entirely brilliant daughters. Sue is also a singer and musician, song-writer and performer with folk group Pig’s Ear, (www.pigs-sty.com) who are frequently to be found playing in pubs, clubs and festivals in the South East. She is prime mover in organising the annual Pigs Ear Kentish Horse Folk Ale, a joyous and inclusive celebration of music, song, dance and good ale worthy of a Shaihen festival. Sue has spent her working life organising other people and her fantasy life re-writing history. This is currently coming to fruition in the creation of the Shaihen Heritage series, a fictional history of the Utopian dream characterised in the fantasy world of Shehaios, the Fair Land. Her professional qualifications begin and end with “A” levels in English and History, two subjects for which she still retains a deep fascination. She is a founder of the Frontline Authors group and a campaigner for independent publishing. A love of words started Sue writing and learning the craft, but she is now writing because she believes she has a story to tell. A story that touches other people, entertains and delights, brings a touch of magic into their lives. Sue is available for talks and book signings (or even singings) - to contact her email sarule.books@gmail.com |
