Sue's News
Ask your local bookshop to pre-order a copy of Shaihen Heritage Book 2 Staff of Power.
It will be out in January 2009. ISBN No. 978 184386 429 5. Price £10.99. Publisher Pegasus Elliott MacKenzie Vanguard Press www.pegasuspublishers.com
As part of the promotion for the new book, I have some copies of Cloak of Magic to GIVE AWAY. In return, I am asking recipients to read it, review it and pass it on to someone else; and ask the next person to do the same. If you want to take part in this bit of viral marketing, please contact me sa.rule@shehaios.co.uk.
I also have some exciting plans for publicising the world of Shehaios - visit Edenbridge for its annual Bonfire Night celebrations on Saturday 8th November to get a taste of what they are! You'll be able to meet a real Shaihen dragon!
Cloak of Magic has now been "released into the wild" under the Book Crossing scheme - watch out for a copy floating around a railway station or a park bench near you...

If you belong to a readers group, or just a social club, who would be interested in the "Murder and Magic" talk, please get in touch. sa.rule@shehaios.co.uk. Yvonne and I do any local talks free of charge, but are very happy to discuss venues further afield.
Getting the message out to the world that Cloak of Magic is a book worth reading is not easy without a large publishing house (and its marketing budget) behind you. If you enjoyed the book and would like to help spread the word:
I also welcome feedback from my readers - sa.rule@shehaios.co.uk.
Cloak of Magic is now available from Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.com, authorsonline.co.uk, Edenbridge Bookshop, Books Etc. Croydon (Whitgift Centre), Rainham Bookshop and Waterstones Bookshop Tunbridge Wells; also the Sharpthorne Organic Cafe, East Grinstead. If your local bookshop hasn't got it, order it using the ISBN no. 0 7552 1030 1 (Publisher Authors OnLine); they can obtain it from their usual suppliers. You can also get it direct from me.
The histories of Shehaios are on-going, but the third in the series, Spirit of Shehaios, will draw the narrative to some form of conclusion. Further stories will open windows at other points of the Fair Land's history.
I hope you will share my enjoyment of creating the world of Shehaios and Caiivor.
